Meet Nala, a two year old American Bulldog/Pit mix weighing 70 pounds. Nala was surrendered by her owner due to a lack of time to give her the attention she deserves, and she is now looking for a home where she can truly shine. She is a sweet girl with a loving personality, but can be nervous in the kennel environment and really enjoys being outside and away from the busy shelter setting. Once she’s comfortable, her affectionate nature comes through beautifully. Nala already knows "sit" and is eager to engage with her people, especially when there’s praise or attention involved. She is a strong, gorgeous girl with a striking blue coat and a playful side that her previous family adored. She loves to play and chase balls—though she’s still working on the "bring it back" part! She was also reportedly potty trained in her previous home. Nala is sweet with people and would thrive with someone who can give her structure, exercise, and patience as she settles in. Because she enjoys chasing, she would do best in a home without cats or small animals. With the right home, Nala is sure to blossom into a loyal, fun, and deeply rewarding companion.
