About Rose
Meet Rose, a sweet female Great Pyrenees who came to Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue from a challenging situation. She arrived with her five puppies when they were just 17 days old, and she has done her best as a young mom. Now, she's ready to find her forever home. Though Rose is a bit shy at first, she warms up quickly—just offer her a treat and some kind words. She enjoys long walks and appreciates being showered with love and attention. While many of her fellow Pyrs dream of being the only dog, Rose would flourish with a male companion to ease her loneliness. Given her past, she sometimes feels anxious when left alone. With a little patience and time, she will surely become more comfortable. Rose gets along well with calm children and requires a fenced-in yard—at least four feet high—to roam safely. She's ready to share her love with someone special. If you think you can give her the home she deserves, don’t hesitate!
