Meet Posey! This tiny little Shih Tzu mix weighs just 7.6 pounds and came to the shelter from Hondo Animal Shelter. At about 4 years old, she’s small enough that you could easily tuck her into your purse. Posey has a wonderful temperament, getting along famously with everyone she meets. She’s affectionate, gentle, and truly one of the sweetest little girls you’ll ever encounter. She tested "indeterminate" for Chagas disease, but don’t worry. If she tests positive on a follow-up, treatment is straightforward and affordable.
