About Roseanne
Meet Roseanne, affectionately known as "Rosie." Based in Bullard, TX, Rosie is a calm, low-energy Great Dane who embodies the essence of a gentle giant. She thrives on quiet companionship, enjoying short walks and basking in the sunshine. Whether she's settling in for a peaceful nap or lounging in a securely fenced yard, Rosie's favorite spot is always close to her family. Although naturally cautious around strangers, especially men, Rosie warms up beautifully with a little patience. It took her a few days to bond with her foster dad while quickly establishing a connection with his wife, Rebecca. Once trust is built, she reveals her affectionate and loyal nature. Though shy during veterinary visits, she displays good behavior with her family present. Rosie has not been around other dogs or cats, and while she hasn’t lived with children, her foster believes she'd do best with older, respectful kids who can maintain a calm atmosphere. Currently, Rosie is recovering from a nasal infection and has a cherry eye that may require surgery, but she's progressing well on her antibiotics. This sweet girl is looking for a low-activity home that values routine and provides a secure environment. If you're in search of a loving companion with excellent manners and a gentle heart, Rosie could be the perfect fit for you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
