About Hatch
Hatch is a gentle, soulful Great Dane mix with a soft spot for relaxed evenings and a good cuddle on the sofa. Now about eleven and a half years old, Hatch has left a tough past—marked by malnourishment and heartworm—well behind. Thanks to solid care, he now sports a shiny coat and a healthy appetite. Hatch floats through life in a calm and mild-mannered way; he rarely barks, never jumps up on people, and makes his appreciation known through quiet nudges or by settling right in next to you. He thrives on close companionship and will always claim the coziest spot beside his person. Moderate bursts of play break up his tranquil vibe, and he sometimes zooms around the house with pride. He gets along well with other dogs and has lived harmoniously with visiting grandkids (ages 7 and 12). Meeting new dogs is nothing out of the ordinary for him. Hatch is reliably housetrained and manages fine without a crate. Leash walks excite him, but his size requires someone steady on their feet or a yard with a good fence for him to explore. He's mostly unfazed by daily commotion, though thunder sends him seeking a bit of comfort—expect him to crawl into bed when storms roll in. Hatch isn’t high-maintenance; all he needs is a loving home, soft places to nap, and someone willing to enjoy long, quiet evenings together. He gives back as much as he gets, making him a loyal, grateful companion ready to take over a stretch of your sofa and a big spot in your heart. Born November 25, Hatch is a Sagittarius, so it's no wonder he blends adventurous spurts with easy contentment. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
