Meet Salem, an incredibly affectionate Great Dane puppy living in Bullard, TX. With her big personality, she loves to be included in everything her family does and rewards you with full-body wiggles and endless kisses during cuddle time. Salem is playful and curious, eagerly learning and exploring her surroundings. A funny quirk of hers is collecting toys, which she joyfully arranges in a circle around herself. She also has a special love for ice cubes, dashing to the ice machine whenever she hears it. Daily exercise is essential for her, as she thrives on playtime and mental enrichment. Salem is mostly house trained with a regular schedule and sleeps through the night without accidents. Although she’s still mastering leash manners and can get anxious in the car, she is crate trained and shows great potential with the right guidance. While she has a little bit of resource guarding over high-value items, this does not extend to people and with continued training, Salem will flourish. Salem does wonderfully with other dogs and has cohabitated with cats, but she may chase them in excitement. She is friendly toward everyone, including children, and settles quickly after her initial excitement. Healthy and happy in her foster care, Salem is ready to find a home that can help build her confidence while providing lots of love, training, and playtime.
