Richmond is the strong and silent type, hiding a soft heart beneath his tough exterior. This adult male dog has a striking black coat with a crisp white chest, radiating sweetness that quietly captures your attention. Rather than demanding affection, he subtly leans in and gazes up, waiting for you to realize that he is exactly what you’ve been missing. He thrives outdoors, reveling in the fresh air with his nose in the grass, ears perked up, and tail wagging joyfully. He takes treats gently, hinting at his calm and easygoing nature. Richmond enjoys the companionship of people and is happiest when he can explore a safe, fenced yard. This is his primary requirement; it lets him stretch his legs and survey his domain. Appointments are preferred for meet and greets to ensure that someone is available to connect with you. The shelter operates Monday through Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, with possible additional hours based on volunteer availability.
