Meet Luna, an energetic 6-month-old Belgian Malinois mix. She arrived at the shelter when her previous guardian could no longer care for her. Luna had primarily lived outdoors with her sister Sassy, who is also available for adoption. The two have been known to squabble over food, toys, and treats, so we aim to find them separate forever homes. Luna loves playing with other dogs, especially her buddy Nico, and would thrive in a home with another dog after a careful introduction. However, she is not suitable for homes with small animals, cats, or young children. Her new family should anticipate providing ample mental and physical stimulation, as Luna is still mastering essential life skills like potty training and leash manners. Positive reinforcement training is key to helping her adjust. Luna is currently available for pre-adoption and will need a loving home after her spay surgery.
