About Boris
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Boris, a gentle soul searching for a special home where patience and kindness are treasured. Boris has faced many challenges in his young life, but his spirit remains resilient and hopeful. He is a sweet and quirky pup with a soft heart, and while he is still shy and startles easily, he shows affection in his own unique way—by resting near you, offering soft kisses, and quietly seeking companionship. Boris is motivated by food, is both crate-trained and potty-trained, and already knows basic commands like "sit" and "come." He enjoys soft blankets, chew toys, and especially loves playtime with other dogs, making canine friends like his foster brother Charlie a joy for him. While Boris currently shares a home with a cat, he may need patient guidance to coexist peacefully with feline companions. Some physical challenges due to genetics or previous trauma don't stop him from gaining strength and confidence each day. This wonderful pup needs a calm, loving home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. If your heart is big and your home is tranquil, Boris could be the perfect match—offering you a one-of-a-kind love in return for your patience and care. Boris is currently being cared for in a foster home at the Humane Society of the North Bay. Click apply to start the adoption process.
