Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Wanda is a beautiful and social young dog who narrowly missed being put to sleep at a crowded shelter but was saved just in time. At only 9 months old, she has already won the hearts of volunteers and staff with her friendly and playful nature. Wanda is a mix of Belgian Shepherd/Malinois and German Shepherd Dog, combining the intelligence, athleticism, and devotion of both breeds. She loves toys, knows how to sit for treats, and delights in play that’s always gentle. Wanda gets along very well with other dogs and is quick to learn new things. She would make an excellent hiking or walking companion and is eager to join in any fun or active adventures you enjoy. Although she will benefit from some basic training, her smart and willing personality makes her an ideal lifelong best friend. Wanda is currently being emergency boarded to keep her safe while an experienced foster or adoptive home is found. More updates about this sweet girl will be shared soon.
