About Ruby
Ruby's story is one of resilience and second chances. A few years ago, she was abandoned at our facility alongside her son, Bug, learning to navigate the world anew. Despite this rough start, Ruby quickly revealed herself as a sweet and loving dog. She and Bug were adopted together, and we hoped they had found their forever home. Recently, they've returned to our care due to unforeseen circumstances and are seeking a new place to call their own. Ruby has transformed into a happy, affectionate, and social girl who greets everyone with enthusiasm. Her progress from her early days is remarkable; she thrives on human interaction and makes friends easily. Ruby has adjusted back into our routine seamlessly, relishing walks, little adventures, and cozy cuddle sessions. While she gets excited on the leash and is refining her manners, Ruby is eager to learn and improve with practice. Her playful side shines when she gets the zoomies in the yard, often leading to some amusing moments as she forgets to slow down. Post-play, this sweet girl enjoys a good nap to recharge for her next escapade. Ruby is also working on respecting personal space; she might try to jump into your lap without realizing her size. With continued guidance, she's making positive strides. Her strong bond with Bug is heartwarming, and we hope they can find a home together once again. They truly complement each other. Ruby hasn't been tested with cats or small animals, so slow introductions are recommended. Despite the changes sheโs faced in life, Ruby remains a loving, joyful companion ready to find her family once more. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
