About Elvis
Elvis is a one-year-old, large mixed-breed boy with an unforgettable presence. Abandoned before arriving in Hoquiam, WA, he remains pure gold at heart and is the type of dog whose quirks become your favorite things. He’s known around the shelter for his signature “growl-talk” and the classic lip quiver, channeling his rock-and-roll namesake. What might seem intimidating upfront quickly softens once you realize he just wants to chat—true husky energy with loads of personality. Elvis likes time in the yard, especially with the big female dogs in his playgroup. He recently hit the beach, had a blast with a pup cup, handled car rides like a pro, and impressed everyone with his great leash manners. He’d thrive as the center of attention in an adult-only home, ideally with another large female dog friend. A home without small dogs, cats, or children will be best for him. Elvis isn’t shy about showing his goofy side but will reward the right person with deep loyalty and fun every day. All dogs from North Beach PAWS are neutered, microchipped, have completed a wellness exam, and are current on vaccines and parasite treatments. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
