About Chase

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Chase! He is a charming 3-year-old (DOB 05/24/2022) Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mix who truly puts the wiggle in wiggle butt. His thick chocolate, sable, and white coat highlights his happy-go-lucky face and joyful energy. Large dog experience is preferred—Chase thrives under confident leadership and will be happiest with someone familiar with the spirited personality of his breed. He has a sensitive stomach and benefits from a special diet of LID venison and sweet potato kibble and canned food, as well as daily Apoquel medication to support healthy skin. Chase is loving, sweet, and friendly—a wonderful companion for an outdoorsy family or individual who enjoys adventures, car rides, and brisk walks. He is a quick learner, keeps his kennel neat, and relishes quality cuddle time (especially sleeping with his person at night!). Chase is strong with a big, happy heart, so he needs an active, dog-savvy adult or family with sturdy kids 13+ who are kind and experienced with dogs. He has lived with two female dogs in the past and can enjoy canine friendships, but active play should be supervised. While Chase’s compatibility with cats is unknown and not recommended, he does enjoy lounging in his crate with chews and sturdy toys. For safety, a secure fenced yard is required. Fun fact: With a birthday of May 24, Chase is a Gemini—known for their curiosity and adventurous spirit! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
