About Fred

Meet Fred, a playful gray and white tabby kitten with adorable long white rear boots. He came to Second Chance from an overcrowded shelter, and he's ready to bring excitement into your life! Fred is highly active, loving to chase toys and engage with anything that moves, including other cats. While he enjoys affection and pets, his heart truly races when jumping, running, and playing. To ensure a safe playtime, stick to wand toys instead of hands, so he can direct his playful energy accordingly. Fred thrives in the company of another kitten, so he needs to be adopted with a sibling here or have a young playful cat at home. For his safety and for young children, we won't adopt him to families with kids under six years old. Fred is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he was born on April 1, 2026. His adoption fee is $120. If you're interested in meeting Fred or any of the cats at the shelter, visit Second Chance Cats of West Michigan’s website to fill out an application or come by during open hours. Please note that adoptions are limited to those residing within an hour's drive of Grand Rapids. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
