About Maggie Mae in AL

Meet Maggie Mae, lovingly called Mags, a sweet young Great Pyrenees mix who was found as a stray in a ditch in Alabama. When she first arrived, Mags was quite fearful, but she's made incredible progress in building her social skills. Though she can be a bit shy initially, she warms up quickly and loves to soak up affection. Mags is full of puppy energy—playful and ready for fun. She gets along well with other dogs, but will bark if someone doesn’t engage with her or if a bigger dog intimidates her. It’s her way of expressing herself as she continues to find her voice. Mags is housebroken and in the process of learning to walk nicely on a leash, as well as working on her obedience. An active, loving home will suit her best. She'd thrive in a house with a secure yard where she can romp around with a canine companion. On warmer days, she appreciates the comfort of air conditioning while lounging around. Although her interaction with kids and cats hasn't been fully tested yet, her gentle nature suggests she may adapt well. Mags is ready to find a nurturing family to call her own, and she's full of love to give. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
