About CJ in AL

Meet CJ, an outgoing and affectionate Great Pyrenees ready to find his forever home! CJ is both housebroken and leash trained. He sits for treats and follows commands well, demonstrating a keen desire to please. With a 5-foot fence, he can't wait to explore his own yard! CJ has been wonderful with other dogs, big and small, and enjoys playtime. He knows how to handle himself well, even submitting if another dog gets too rowdy. Having interacted with around 40 dogs since arriving at the rescue, he has shown no issues and would thrive with a furry friend or as a solo pet with regular playdates. His friendly nature also makes him great with people, so you can expect him to be wonderful with kids. He’s not prone to digging and barks minimally, mostly at squirrels or while having fun. CJ enjoys being both inside and outside, especially in air conditioning. He rides well in the car and loves his toys and brushing sessions. Food-wise, he’s not picky, treating anything as a delight. Interestingly, storms and fireworks don’t seem to faze him, and so far, he has no noted behavior issues. This independent thinker is loving, playful, and knows when it’s time to chill. He adores attention, whether through petting or belly rubs. With plenty of youthful energy, CJ would thrive in an active home where he can express his energetic and loving personality. He’s truly a special pup who appreciates the company of both people and other dogs! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
