Having come from a tough background, he’s learning that life can be good, but he still needs time to adjust to new situations. Frosty is timid when meeting new people, especially men, but he warms up quickly to women. Essential for him is a household with at least one other calm, non-reactive dog who can guide him through his anxieties. While Frosty gets along well with cats and even chickens, he feels uneasy around young children due to their unpredictable movements. Ideally, he would do best in a home with kids over 12 who understand his needs. His confidence is currently being built through positive reinforcement and consistent training, allowing him to feel secure in his surroundings. Remember, he’s not an outside dog - he prefers a fenced yard and shouldn’t be off-leash as he tends to roll over instead of returning when called.
