About Gio

Gio is a lively, three-legged wonder who can't wait to be your new best friend. Rescued from a home in California where multiple dogs were living with an owner facing serious challenges, Gio has come a long way and is ready to embrace a joyful new life. At around 43 pounds and approximately 3 years old, Gio is likely a Labrador Retriever mix with a rich chocolate brown coat. His playful spirit is undeterred by his missing hind leg; he's speedy, agile, and embraces life with enthusiasm. Although we don't know how he lost his leg, it hasn't slowed him down at all. Gio is sociable and gets along well with all dogs, regardless of size or gender, making him a great companion for another playful pup. He is also good with cats and has been fostered with two kitties, showing respect and courtesy towards them. Children aged 6 and older have captured his heart, and he adores their company. Always eager for walks and outdoor adventures, Gio is also content relaxing on his bed or cuddling on the couch after his playtime. He rides well in the car without any signs of travel sickness. Gio is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and potty trained. His adoption fee of $250 includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics. Fostered in Vancouver, WA, he's ready to find his forever home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
