About Maximus
Meet Maximus! He’s on the lookout for a loving foster or forever home. At 5 years old and 80 lbs, Maximus is a gentle giant. Recently surrendered, he is settling in as we learn more about him. Having lived with his owner for five years, Maximus has a sweet demeanor. He’s not overly playful but shows affection and a dignified nature. He had a brief moment of zoomies in the yard but quickly calmed down. Maximus has an impressive ability to listen; he knows commands like sit and lay down, and follows cues to wait and stay by the door. He handled a car ride well and walked calmly on a leash. Maximus is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, with just one more shot needed soon. Some licking stains around his paws and tail suggest possible allergies, but so far, there are no signs of itching or discomfort. He also has some thinning hair and hyperpigmentation on his back. Previously, he had an ear infection that we’re currently treating, which may relate to his allergies. In his current boarding situation, Maximus has shown he can get along with both cats and dogs. He is quiet in his kennel and well-behaved meeting people of all ages. If you’re interested in fostering or exploring foster-to-adopt, please reach out to inquire!
