About Ralphie
Meet Ralphie! This adorable 1-year-old Pug mix, likely a blend of Pug and Chihuahua, is full of personality. After being found as a stray with a noticeable limp, he underwent surgery to treat an older injury. Ralphie is currently recovering well and has a bright attitude despite the challenges he's faced. Weighing around 10 pounds, Ralphie has a charming appearance reminiscent of a Mogwai from *Gremlins* mixed with a Who from Whoville. With his pouty face and the biggest, brightest eyes, he loves to cuddle and snuggle. His future home must agree to let him sleep in bed with you—this is a firm requirement from his foster mom! Neutered during his leg surgery, Ralphie is fully house- and crate-trained, having learned quickly during his time with us. While he plays well with other dogs, he tends to get overly excited, so a dog-savvy adopter who can help him with proper socialization would be ideal. He enjoys picking at his food throughout the day, so free feeding while keeping an eye on his weight will suit him best. Ralphie is available for adoption as he continues his healing process. We will be selective about his future home to ensure he gets the care he needs. His staples will be removed on 9/17/26, and he will need time to recover fully from his surgery.
