Meet Drift, a handsome 1-year-old Baussie who catches eyes wherever he goes. This brilliant mix of border collie and Australian shepherd is not only stunning but also sweet and athletic. Drift loves to run and play with his furry friends, but he equally enjoys snuggling with his human companions. His agility and speed make him a prime candidate for agility training, and he's great with other dogs, effortlessly making friends with his calm demeanor. Hearing impaired, Drift is learning hand signals and has quickly picked up commands like sit, come, and up. He’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and trustworthy around the house. Drift needs an active home where he can stay engaged and be a part of daily activities. A physical fenced yard is a must, along with someone who understands the energy and intelligence of a herding dog. He would thrive with a playful dog buddy. Drift has made a full recovery after having a non-functioning kidney removed, and it hasn’t slowed him down at all. Currently being fostered in Troy, IL, this boy is ready for his forever home.
