Oreo is a delightful Shih Tzu mix, around 3 years old and weighing about 14 pounds. He thrives in a home with other dogs but can also adjust as a solo pet for someone willing to help with his anxious tendencies. Oreo is of medium energy, enjoying a good walk followed by cozy nap time. He adores car rides and gets along well with children, showing interest in the resident cat while remaining respectful. Although he struggles with being crated, he does fine left out and is currently wearing belly bands to adapt to routine, as he can mark indoors. Thankfully, he is potty-trained and loves snuggling on laps or sharing the bed. No fenced yard is necessary, yet Oreo prefers a house over an apartment since he tends to bark when left alone. Regular grooming every 6-8 weeks is a must to keep his long coat in shape. The journey with his anxiety started with Fluoxetine, and with patience and care, he can adapt well in a new environment.
