About Zarah
Zarah is an active and affectionate German Shepherd mix who weighs around 45 pounds. She's sweet, loving, and smart, currently living with a 12-year-old child whom she adores, though she may be too energetic for younger toddlers. Zarah gets along well with her male dog companion but does not get along with a female dog, so she would thrive best in a single-dog home. She chases cats, making a cat-free environment essential. Zarah is house trained and has been in a crate when her owner is away due to some conflicts with another dog. Sheโs been receiving formal obedience training from a professional and is learning well; she walks nicely on a leash and shows minimal reactivity towards other dogs on walks. Zarah enjoys car rides, loves squeaky toys, and is up for adventures like paddleboarding. Urgently needing a new home before her scheduled surrender on July 29, Zarah will be spayed on that day, after which she'll be available for adoption. This girl is ready for a loving family to join her on new adventures. Contact Melanie at 209-607-3241 for more information.
