About Chopper
Chopper is about 1 year old, a charming bully mix who found himself abandoned on the Yakima Reservation. After hearing he was left behind, I couldn’t resist rescuing him. He’s the son of a female dog I cared for last year, and he quickly adapted to his new home, integrating effortlessly into the pack. Within just thirty minutes, he was ready to join the family inside. Living with seven other dogs, Chopper has been a model housemate. He may need a boost in confidence, especially when it’s time to get out of the car, but he's a loyal companion who stays close by your side. He’s fully potty trained, leash trained, and up to date on all vaccinations, including a rabies shot. We’re working on basic commands like sit and stay, and he loves snuggling up every night—often claiming the best spot on the bed before the others do. Chopper is cat-friendly with the right introductions, making him an excellent choice for any family. He would thrive in an environment that offers stability and patience, along with plenty of love. If you’re looking for a loyal companion for car rides, hiking, or just cozy evenings at home, he’s your guy. Chopper's adoption comes with an application process through our partner House of Hope at Shelton, WA, which includes a home visit and an adoption fee of $350. Give this sweet boy the new beginning he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
