About Alfonso
Alfonso is a remarkable dog and a survivor of domestic violence. After enduring abuse, he was found at a storage facility with a fractured femur, but after receiving surgery, he has made a great recovery and is now thriving in his foster home in Charlotte. He loves both dogs and cats, showing no prey drive at all—just a playful spirit! Alfonso has a massive heart, eager to befriend everyone he meets. He’s a fantastic car companion, enjoying rides with his head out the window, but is also quite content lying down during drives. This young boy would thrive in a home with a four-legged friend or older children, around 8 and up. Despite his past, Alfonso greets all men warmly and has a joyful energy that, while playful, does settle down. Adopting him will be a rewarding experience filled with love!
