About Daphne
Daphne’s life took a sharp turn when she landed in a Georgia shelter, with everyone misreading her breed at first glance. Turns out, she’s half Great Dane, nearly a quarter Pit Bull, and all unforgettable. At just about ten months, Daphne had zero training and endless energy, racing through life and knocking over everything in her path, human and dog alike. She had strong opinions about crates and no leash skills, backed up by a determined prey drive and a stubborn streak. But she wanted to learn, so her foster family stuck with it and carved out structure and boundaries. Now, Daphne sprints gleefully into her crate, waits for treats, listens when overexcited, and has learned to play with other dogs rather than steamroll them. She still needs activity and rules—she’ll thrive with clear expectations and lots of adventure. She’s dog-social, adores kids, but does not do well with cats or small critters. After the exercise winds down, Daphne melts into a cuddling machine who’s determined to snuggle her people, tossing in belly laughs and nose boops as part of the package. Daphne will shine in an active home committed to ongoing training and giving her both physical activity and affection. If you want a comedic, athletic, and fiercely loving young dog, she’s ready to join in every adventure. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
