About Butterscotch

Butterscotch is a spirited, 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who narrowly escaped the shelter system and is looking for a permanent home—or even a foster-to-adopt situation. At about 55 lbs with a short apricot/beige coat, she's crate and potty trained, making her transition to home life smoother. Butterscotch does well with older children and enjoys the company of dogs her own size. She's still young and shows those classic puppy behaviors, so you'll see bursts of energy and curiosity. She’s not a fit for homes with cats. A fenced yard is preferred so she can play safely. While she’s mastered indoor basics, leash training is a work in progress and sometimes she’ll chew at the leash when out for a walk. This girl survived the clock at a city shelter—now she’s waiting for someone willing to put in a little effort and a lot of love. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
