About Ira

Meet Ira! He’s a charming little hound dog with a goofy personality that’s sure to bring a smile to your face. Ira’s long, floppy ears often end up soaked when he takes a drink, but he doesn’t seem to mind. This happy pup sleeps in a crate with his sister and consistently keeps it clean through his potty training efforts. He’s doing well with regular outdoor trips and is learning to use pee pads too. Ira adores belly rubs and enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes, always up for a good game of chase in the yard. When he's not playing, you can find him relaxing in the shade, chewing on a stick or curiously investigating lightning bugs in the evening. Recently, he met a cat and showed little interest, which bodes well for potential feline housemates. As he discovers the delights of treats, training sessions will surely be a blast! Ira will be fully ready for his forever home after receiving his second puppy vaccine on August 3rd. If you want a sweet, silly, loving companion to liven up your days, Ira is eager to steal your heart! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
