Sassy
AvailableSassy is a spayed female, medium-sized Siberian Husky and Hound mix, estimated to be 3 years and 4 months old, with a black and cream medium-length coat. She is located in Lewis Center, OH, and has lived with cats before. Sassy is still adjusting to life outdoors and will benefit from a gentle, supportive home.
About Sassy
Sassy is still at the county pound, waiting for a foster home to step up and get her out. She came in with eight other dogs from an abusive situation, spending her whole previous life inside without ever experiencing the outdoors. Now, everything is new and a bit overwhelming for her, but she's making progress. A volunteer visits to walk her and says she's a sweet dog on leash and loves getting belly rubs. She weighs about 40 pounds, has a medium coat, and has been spayed. Since she lived with dozens of cats before coming to the shelter, Sassy is used to their company. She needs to stay on a strong leash—loud noises and cars still startle her, so it will take some time for her to build confidence in the world. Sassy’s new foster will play a big role in teaching her how good life on the outside can be. Every Capricorn needs a bit of patience and structure, and Sassy is no exception. She’s waiting for a calm, steady hand to guide her. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
