About Judah
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Get ready to fall head over heels for Judah! He’s a three-year-old male beagle/hound mix who weighs about 45 pounds and bursts with playful energy. Judah is very friendly and enjoys playtime—he gets along well with other dogs and could thrive either as your only dog or with canine siblings. While cats and small animals aren’t his cup of tea, Judah is great with children aged 8 and up, making him a fun companion for families with older kids. He’s still mastering the ropes of living indoors, so he’s not fully potty trained yet but he is crate trained, especially happy if his crate is placed where he can see the action. This apartment-friendly pup absolutely adores his stuffies and would choose them over bones or chews any day! Judah is a true hound at heart, with a nose that loves to track scents (be prepared for some squirrel and rabbit “hunting” adventures on your walks) and a deep love for sniffing every inch of the outdoors. While he’s still learning about the joys of blankets, which he finds endlessly fascinating, he already loves car rides and sharing treats like pepperoni, shredded chicken, and cheese. A home with a secure fence is a bonus for Judah, though not required if you can provide him with regular exercise and outdoor time. He’s looking for someone active who loves hugs and can keep up with his learning journey as he continues to discover the comforts of home life. Judah’s adoption fee includes all the essentials to get started—spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, worming, and heartworm prevention. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
