About Marigold
Marigold is a precious little Shih Tzu who has a heart full of love and a playful spirit. At around 3-4 years old, she weighs just 5.5 pounds and is one of the tiniest Shih Tzu we've welcomed into our care. Marigold's journey started with an owner surrender due to medical issues, and now she's ready to find her forever family while receiving all the love and care she deserves. This sweet girl is gentle during grooming, showing her adorable personality when she gets excited and wags her tail. Marigold enjoys being around people, and once she feels secure, her joy shines through. She is still learning to navigate her environment, needing a home with a securely fenced yard and experienced adopters who can continue her training. Marigold does well with other dogs and even gets along with cats, making her a wonderful companion in a multi-pet household. Keep in mind, she requires regular grooming every 4-6 weeks due to her long hair, and she thrives in a calm environment where she can feel safe and loved. Ideally, Marigold would like folks around most of the day—after all, she's a snuggler who wants a cozy spot on the couch. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal friend to add joy to your life, Marigold might be the one. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
