Nutmeg is a charming 3-month-old puppy currently in Shermans Dale, PA. He weighs around 15 lbs, and his estimated mix includes Shepherd and Collie traits. Rescued from a rural shelter where he grew up in a cramped environment, Nutmeg is now thriving in his foster home. He’s incredibly smart and very people-oriented, often preferring human company over canine playmates, though he does enjoy hanging out with the other dogs in the house. He’s friendly toward the resident cat, showing curiosity without being overly interested. Nutmeg is highly food motivated, which makes training an enjoyable experience for both him and his adopter. Despite still learning about potty training, he’s been doing well and hasn’t had any accidents inside. He has yet to be neutered, but arrangements will be made for that at the rescue’s vet. His adoption fee is $450, which covers vaccinations, a microchip, monthly prevention, and his neuter surgery as part of a foster-to-adopt agreement. This lovable pup is ready to find his forever home—what a wonderful addition he would make! Get ready to fall in love. Apply now!
