Meet Mama Posy! This gentle lady has devoted the last several months to caring for her puppies, and now it’s time for her to receive the love she truly deserves. Posy will be heading to Pennsylvania on October 31st, seeking a foster or foster-to-adopt home. She was a wonderful mom, initially surprising shelter staff when she arrived unaware of her pregnancy. After giving birth to two pups, she didn't hesitate to take in four more orphaned puppies, nurturing them all as her own. Now that her tiny ones have grown up, Posy is ready for her own family. Affectionate and sweet, Posy gets along well with dogs of all sizes and loves to snuggle up, believing she’s a lap dog at heart. She seems to be mostly house trained and walks nicely on a leash, making her an even lovelier companion. Just a heads-up though—Posy is quite the explorer! She has shown some impressive jumping skills, so her future home will need to be mindful of her adventurous spirit.
