Oscar is an almost two-year-old Border Collie mix who has faced quite a journey. He spent the majority of his early life in a large shelter, entering when he was just 10 weeks old and finally finding his way to a foster home a year and a half later. Initially, Oscar was very nervous and shy around new people, often hiding or cowering when feeling scared. With the patience and love of his foster family, Oscar has made significant progress. He walks well on a leash and has become less fearful of car and traffic sounds. While still shy, he warms up to trusted humans with sweet tail wags and enjoys being petted. Oscar is kennel trained and appreciates having a safe space to retreat to. He is also potty trained and goes on a leash. This gentle boy will thrive in a quiet home that understands his need for time and patience. Having another confident dog around would benefit him greatly, as he loves to join in playful antics with his canine companions. Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
