About Mojo
Mojo is a spirited 5-year-old golden Australian Shepherd. He came to Aussie Rescue of Minnesota after his owner went into assisted living and needed a new home. Despite his recent adoption, he was returned because his new family struggled with his exuberant, less-than-polite leash manners. Mojo is on the hunt for a loving family ready to invest time and patience into teaching him to be a gentleman on the leash. With a heart full of joy, Mojo thrives on interactions with everyone—be it kids, adults, or fellow dogs—he’s a true social butterfly. In his foster home, he is both curious and respectful towards other dogs, showcasing his athletic nature and eagerness to please, especially when food is involved. Mojo is both crate trained and housebroken. While he’s making strides in learning to walk nicely on a leash, he tends to pull, and his recall skills are still a work in progress. A secure environment or an established recall will be essential for his safety. He enjoys meeting new people and displays a bit of wanderlust, so supervision during outdoor time is recommended until he settles in completely. Good news for potential pet parents — Mojo seems to get along well with cats, dogs, and children alike. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
