Say hi to Milo! Milo was adopted from ARM as a young puppy back in 2018 as part of a litter of Aussie mixes. He's now almost 7 years old and is looking for a new home as it is becoming clear that he is not good with young children. Milo is a healthy Aussie mix weighing about 75 lbs. He suffered dual broken legs back in 2019 when he ran in front of a vehicle. His injuries healed well with surgery, only showing a slight limp temporarily if he lays in an awkward position for a period of time. It is likely that as he ages, Milo will need care and monitoring for any issues with the screws in his hip bones. At current, he does not have any restrictions for activities. Milo enjoys playing with other dogs once he's had a chance to get acquainted with them, but does show a preference to female dogs as he does sometimes exhibit guarding tendencies when other male dogs are around his food or preferred human. Milo is house trained and does well in a crate. He currently lives in a home that had invisible fencing and does well. He also does well off leash and has reliable recall with those he's familiar with. Milo is currently being fostered by his owner in the southern suburbs of the Twn Cities.
