About Coco
Coco is a loving 5 to 7-year-old female Rottweiler weighing about 78 lbs. She's incredibly affectionate, often cuddling up and seeking attention, which means she might not be the best fit for families with small children. Coco enjoys lounging on the couch and is quite food-motivated. Despite being in her middle age, she has plenty of energy to share. Coco is crate trained and needs her crate when left alone to keep her out of trouble. While sheβs close to being fully housebroken, she still needs some guidance. She loves long walks but tends to pull on the leash. Coco has not been around other dogs or cats during her foster stay, but she does get excited when she sees dogs while on walks. She's up to date on her vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed soon. Coco is currently fostered in Virginia Beach, but potential adopters must reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, or be within six hours of Raleigh, NC. Questions about Coco
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Coco, being a Rottweiler, thrives in a home where she can be part of the family and engage in daily activities. A yard is a plus, but she can also adapt to apartment living if given ample exercise.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Coco enjoys long walks and would benefit from having a moderate yard where she can play and stretch her legs, though daily walks will suffice as well.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Coco might struggle in homes with small children due to her need for personal space and affectionate nature. Older children who understand dog boundaries may be a better fit.
