About Poppy

This could be the start of something paw-some. Poppy is a gentle and affectionate 3-year-old Rottweiler who will capture your heart with her sweet nature. Though she may bark at new people, she warms up quickly with a little patience and slow introductions, becoming a loyal companion in no time. She thrives on being around people, enjoys lounging on the couch, and absolutely adores getting belly rubs. At the same time, Poppy has a playful side and loves to have fun with her family. Poppy is known to get along well with other dogs, and her shelter foster shared that she loved her kids, though their ages were not specified. Her ideal home would be with someone who is not gone all day, as she cherishes companionship. Recently weighing about 64 pounds and expected to be around 70 pounds, Poppy is heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spayed. Fostered in southwest Virginia, she would be a wonderful addition to a loving home ready to make her part of the family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
