About Evelyn

Meet Evelyn! This sweet, 5-year-old female Shih Tzu is beginning her journey after being released from a breeder. She's still figuring out the joys of playtime and affection, but you can already see her confidence growing. Evelyn enjoys chewing on toys and is comfortable around other small dogs, though she’s still learning how to play with them. She’s making excellent strides with her potty training, having only had one accident in foster care. A structured schedule and regular trips outside have really helped. Evelyn sleeps quietly in her kennel at night and in an x-pen during the day when she can't be supervised. At this time, a securely fenced yard is required, as she hasn't begun leash training yet. That’s set to start soon as she gains even more confidence. Evelyn is scheduled for her spay and dental on July 14th, and she'll be ready to go to her forever home shortly afterward. If you're seeking a sweet companion and can offer a gentle touch while she learns about love and family life, Evelyn could be the perfect match for you. Evelyn’s adoption fee is $300.
