About Summer URGENT
Meet Summer, an urgent case at just 16 weeks old. This Shepherd mix has found herself at the Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield, facing a dangerous situation due to an upper respiratory infection. Summer needs a loving home right away to escape the looming threat of euthanasia. She’s been waiting for help since June 11, 2026, and every day counts. Despite her challenges, Summer brings strength and resilience. She has a short coat adorned with beautiful colors like black, yellow, and brown. Unfortunately, she is not house trained yet, but with love and patience, she can learn quickly.
