Ubi is in Thousand Oaks, CA, and while he is not altered, he deserves a loving home where he can thrive and feel safe.

About Ubi URGENT

Ubi is in urgent need of a loving home. This 4-year-old Shepherd mix has been at the Kern County Animal Services shelter in Bakersfield since June 19, 2026, and his time is running out. With more than 300 dogs currently at the shelter, space is at a premium, and Ubi risks being euthanized if he doesn’t find a place soon. Despite his challenging circumstances, Ubi is a resilient and friendly companion. He sports a short coat in shades of brown, black, and cream. Although he's not house trained yet, he has his vaccinations up to date, making him ready for a new beginning. Ubi does well with humans but needs a little extra time and training to adjust to his new environment. Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS) is working hard to find homes for dogs like Ubi, partnering with the shelter to advocate for their safety. If you're interested in adopting this sweet boy, please reach out to CAPS. He’s counting on you to help him start a new chapter!
