About Winter URGENT
Winter is in urgent need of a home. This 16-week-old Shepherd mix has an upper respiratory infection that makes her vulnerable at the shelter, where she's been since June 11, 2026. As a small puppy with a beautiful tricolor coat of brown, black, and white, she deserves a loving environment to recover and thrive. Currently housed at the Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield, Winter faces a high risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. She's not yet house trained and hasn't been altered, but her vaccinations are up to date. If you're looking for a new companion and can provide immediate care, please consider her. Every moment counts, so act quickly to help Winter find her forever home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
