Videos: Pork Pie & Sasha fence meet: https://youtube.com/shorts/GG3HVbsi38Q?feature=share Sasha and Pork Pie walk along: https://youtube.com/shorts/CNiytEk4Gds?feature=share Behavior Notes: Per volunteer 6/6/26: Kennel Presentation: Pork Pie was laying on her bed when I approached her kennel. She approached the kennel door with a loose and bouncy body with soft eyes and an open panting mouth. Her tail was high and wagging and she caught treats when tossed. She spun her body when I opened the kennel door and allowed me to easily leash her. She came out of her kennel quickly and spun her body twice on the ground, darting a few different directions before following me as I led her out. Leash Skills: Pork Pie pulls moderately on the leash and is not very strong. She followed verbal commands and redirection, and she jumped up at the door when we got to the outer exit of the building, jumping down when I went to open it. Sociability: Pork Pie quickly came to interact with me when I was seated in the yard. She solicited pets and sit down at my feet, curling her body between my legs. She allowed handling all over and would occasionally shrink her body and get low when you approached her with hands, and would loosen up when being pet. She interacted with multiple staff members in the volunteer office and was solicited pets by approaching and resting her body against people's legs. Play: Pork Pie engaged in play by running through the yard with a bouncy and loose body. She showed interest in toys by running for them when tossed and did not pick them up or play with them on her own. Dog Interaction: N/A Return to Kennel: Pork Pie followed her handler easily through the kennels and walked directly into her enclosure, allowing her leash to be removed without issue. Color Level: Gold - for slight fear, jumpiness, and minimal pulling. Per staff 6/1/26: Took pork pie out for the photo shoot. She was right at the kennel door when i approached. Easy to leash and mildly pulled on the leash through the kennels and outside. In the yard she was loose and wiggly, allowed all handing and i was even able to put a cute little bandana on her. Returning to kennel i did a step in and turn around. Removed leash with hand. -- ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week.
