Hi, Im Peanut Brittle, and if youre looking for a little sidekick who believes every adventure is better with a favorite person, we should probably talk. At 3 years old and 12 pounds, Im the perfect combination of cuddly companion and playful best friend. I love being close to my humans and have earned a reputation for following them from room to room. Some dogs like their independence. Me? I prefer quality time. Im a friendly little guy with a medium energy level. I enjoy playtime, exploring, and hanging out with my people, but I also know how to settle in for a cozy evening on the couch. The best days usually include a little fun, a little snuggling, and plenty of togetherness. I get along well with other dogs and cats. When it comes to male dogs, I can sometimes like to remind everyone that Im a confident fellow with opinions of my own. Because of my small size, Im looking for a home with children over 12 years old who can understand and respect a tiny dogs space. I may be small, but I appreciate being treated like the important little gentleman I am. Living with me is easy. Im both crate trained and house trained, so I already understand the routines that make a home run smoothly. Im also up to date on my vaccinations and ready for whatever comes next. My story started in Texas, but Im hoping my future is waiting in one of the northern states where Rocios Rescues places dogs through their foster-to-adopt program. The process is designed to help everyone feel confident and comfortable. We get to spend 2 to 3 weeks living together so you can see what everyday life with me is really like. Theres no pressure and no rushing into a permanent decision. If it turns out were not the perfect match, the rescue will quickly find another foster-to-adopt home for me. Transport leaves every other weekend, and I cant wait to make my way north. Pickup locations are available in East Hartford, Connecticut, and Brattleboro, Vermont.
