About Stryker
Stryker is a 6-month-old Chihuahua mix with plenty of energy to burn and a soft spot for liver treats. He's naturally shy but has started to come out of his shell thanks to encouragement from his foster siblings, both dogs and cats. He lights up around other dogs and gains confidence from their company. Stryker enjoys his toys and can settle in quickly for a nap—though he won't pass up zooming around the backyard when he gets the urge. He's picking up housetraining and signals with a polite whine when he needs something, preferring the outdoors for bathroom breaks. Stryker doesn't bark much and considers his crate a comforting safe space, especially for mealtime and quiet time. This playful pup is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX, still learning about the world and building trust as he searches for his loving forever family. Ready to fall in love?
