You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.We are accepting applications for Twinkie, so named by the shelter staff because of his resemblance to everyone's favorite sweet treat, could have received that name because he is such a sweet dog. This aproximately 3 year old is a happy fellow who won the hearts of the shelter staff when he was there as a flea covered stray. He was offered to rescue by the shelter, because of his treatable health conditions including non-contagious bacterial infections and heartworm. He has recovered from the bacterial infections, but he will continue to receive monthly medication for heartworm, with a follow-up heartworm antigen test in December 2026. Those can be carried out in his adoptive home. Medication and instructions will be provided. Twinkie loves being with people!
