About Harli
Harli and her brother Bear are a bonded pair who lost their longtime home after their person passed away. Since then, they've experienced several transitions—shelter, foster, then another foster—each a bit harder than the last. Harli is nine, spayed, around 70 lbs (she could slim down to 60), and much more reserved than Bear. She prefers quiet corners and hangs back when things get busy, especially around new dogs. Bear, on the other hand, is her shadow and champion; he checks in on her, brings her comfort, and carries his favorite toy everywhere. Side by side, they’ve weathered all this change together. In foster care, Harli shows a gentle, sweet spirit. She warms up slowly but, once settled, she spends her time lounging, enjoying belly rubs, and sticking close to Bear or her humans. They don't push for attention but accept it gladly. Both dogs are calm, not at all aggressive, and happily share food and toys. They’ve lived peacefully with a small group of other dogs but would do best in a quieter home, ideally as the center of attention or part of a small pack. Their foster speaks highly of how easygoing and loving they are—a pair that’s easy to care for, not needy, and deeply connected. Anyone looking for mellow, affectionate companions will find a perfect match in Harli and Bear. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
