About Nutmeg
Meet Nutmeg, an 8-year-old pure Dachshund with a heart full of sweetness. This black and tan beauty weighs just 9 lbs and is full of soft, silky fluff. She is still discovering what it means to be a beloved pet after her recent surrender to the Little Paws rescue. While initially shy and skittish around new faces, Nutmeg warms up beautifully when she knows she's safe, becoming an affectionate companion. Nutmeg is currently working on her potty training and will thrive with a consistent routine. A securely fenced yard is essential for her to explore safely and build confidence. She has never been on a leash, so gentle introductions will be key as she learns this new experience. Inside, she is calm and enjoys napping in her crate, showing how settled she is in her surroundings. Nutmeg does well with other dogs, though her experience with larger breeds is still untested. She loves her food and is gentle when taking treats. Her compatibility with cats remains a mystery, so careful introductions would be necessary. Located in Cumming, GA, Nutmeg is ready to find her forever home. Let’s make her next chapter a joyful one together!
