About Star
Star is a small chihuahua/dachshund mix about 6-7 years old, weighing around 12.4 lbs. She’s crate trained and making solid progress with leash and house training. Star gets along well with both dogs and cats. She can be shy meeting new people, but given a little time, she turns into a loyal, affectionate companion. Due to her sensitivity, Star feels more at ease in a quiet home, especially around adults or older kids. Her past family had to move into assisted living, so she’s looking for a calm, stable environment. Star is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and recently had a cherry eye surgery that healed well. She’s laid-back and friendly once comfortable, happiest simply being near her people. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
