About Skipper

Meet Skipper, the sporty pup who's ready to join your home! Skipper has been with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas, for over two years, making her a beloved long-term resident. She came in with a leg injury that led to an amputation, but that hasn't slowed her down. Now healed, she eagerly shows off her vibrant personality to those she trusts. This adorable black and white girl loves to play fetch, especially if you’re a baseball or softball fan. Skipper can keep the fun going for quite a while. Once she’s had her fill of play, she embraces her cuddly side, enjoying cozy moments close to you. Currently, she’s mastering basic commands like sit, down, and leave it. While she thrives with a head halter on walks, Skipper would benefit from additional leash training. It’s important to note that she does not get along with other dogs or cats, so a home without other pets would suit her best. Though she needs a bit of time to warm up to new people, treats and a ball will win her over in no time. Looking for a loyal companion to relax with at home? Skipper might be the perfect match for you! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
